About KinVouch
Built From a Simple Belief: Everyone Deserves Someone in Their Corner.
My name is Temeka Hayes, and KinVouch was created from something I have thought about deeply for years: What happens when life gets difficult and you don't have a dependable person to call?
For many people, family is the first safety net. It is the person who explains the paperwork, helps make the phone call, answers the question you are embarrassed to ask, helps you understand your options, or simply says, “We'll figure this out.”
But not everyone has that.
Some people have aged out of foster care. Some have lost parents or loved ones. Some are estranged from family. Some are veterans rebuilding their lives. Some are young adults trying to navigate adulthood without guidance. And sometimes, people simply find themselves facing a situation they were never taught how to handle.
I created KinVouch because I believe a lack of family support should never mean a lack of support altogether.
Helping others has been part of my life for a long time. Earlier in my life, I worked as a live-in nanny for three boys, an experience that taught me a great deal about patience, responsibility, trust, and being there for someone who depends on you. I understand that sometimes helping another person is not about having every answer. Sometimes it is about listening, being dependable, helping them work through a situation, and making sure they do not feel like they are facing everything alone.
That same sense of care extends into another important part of my life: I am also a rescue dog mom. Caring for rescue animals has reinforced something I strongly believe — everyone deserves compassion, patience, advocacy, and someone willing to show up when they need help the most.
Those experiences are part of the heart behind KinVouch.
KinVouch is designed to be a practical navigation and coordination platform — a place where members can come when they need help understanding what to do next. Whether someone is navigating housing, employment, benefits, important documents, financial resources, life transitions, community services, or simply trying to figure out where to begin, KinVouch is meant to help make the next step clearer.
This isn't about replacing family.
It's about recognizing that sometimes people need someone in their corner.
Someone to help organize the situation.
Someone to help locate resources.
Someone to help ask the right questions.
Someone to help make the next step feel possible.
My work as an entrepreneur has always been rooted in the idea that businesses should do more than generate revenue. They should solve real problems, strengthen communities, and create meaningful impact.
KinVouch is one of the most important expressions of that belief.
Because sometimes the difference between someone giving up and moving forward isn't a huge solution.
Sometimes it's simply having someone say:
“Tell me what's going on. Let's figure out what comes next.”
That is what I want KinVouch to represent.
Guidance. Connection. Advocacy. A stronger safety net.
Because everyone deserves someone in their corner.
